ATLANTEAN COTTAGE COVID-19 UPDATE

During these challenging times we must all make changes and alterations to accommodate a new normal.  As of September 23, guests from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Vermont may visit Maine without restrictions. Guests from other states are required by the state, upon their arrival at Atlantean, to sign a Certificate of Compliance declaring that they have received a negative COVID-19 test within three days of arriving in Maine, that they will quarantine in Maine for 14 days, or that they have already completed their quarantine in Maine. Breakfast 

Breakfast has always been a highlight of our guests’ stays, and though it may be different, we intend for it to remain so.  While we continue to monitor the guidance provided to ensure we are following best practices, we have already taken several actions for safety of our guests.  We have rearranged the seating to provide appropriate distancing.  Our dining room and front parlor can now accommodate 6 couples seated at one time with the proper distance between each table.  As weather allows, we also have 2 tables on our front porch, for outdoor dining.

Cleaning and Housekeeping

We have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of Atlantean Cottage.  We will continue to maintain our high standards and attention to detail, adhering to the latest guidance of public health authorities to provide the highest level of safety for our guests and staff.  During this season, we will be suspending daily housekeeping services for stay-over rooms.  At your request, we can provide additional towels, toiletries, paper supplies, etc., and deliver them to your room.  Upon check-out, each room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.  All linens, including bedspreads and blankets, will be laundered.  Public spaces of Atlantean will be cleaned several times a day, including doorknobs, switches, tables, etc.
